The method applied to the architectural structures with preflex beam

 

 This method places simple preflex beam on the both columns and passes main reinforcing bar of column through lower and upper flange punched. if the structure is one story, prestressed steel bar is installed between anchor installed in bottom slab and upper flange on the center of beam, and prestressed steel bar tensed by oil jack on the center of beam. In case of more than two story, prestressed steel bar passes through between each beam, in means of same method prestressed steel bar tensed. In this way introducing positive moment to the middle of beam, two preflex beam is continued by welding of cover plate. After bottom slab and column of upper story is placed and cured, prestressed steel bar is removed, then introduced compressive force can reduce the tension by dead and live load. It may be changeable according to conditions of site and loads when each beam is connected by welding cover plate.

 Reducing enormous negative moment in joint of beam-column, this method can reduce a water leakage by the cracks near joint so can improve durability of structure. Because height of beam and area of column can be reduced, the cost of material can be lower and efficiency of space can be improved. Moreover, reduction of self-load and continuity can improve resistance of earthquake. As a result, this can be applied preflex beam and existing structures which use a rolled profile.
